The best at all of the things.

By Andrew G. on Jun 25, 2020
I've done a lot of load work with my Tikka T3 in 30-06. The best load I had come up with shot about 3/4 MOA with 168gr Sierra Matchkings. I was using the 178gr Berger VLD (which was never much better than MOA in this gun) for hunting, but in the quest for better performance on deer I picked up some of these 150gr Gold Dots. To my surprise, the worst of the four loads I tested was slightly better than the best that this Tikka had ever previously shot with the Matchkings, and the best was a single ragged hole at 100 yards, about 3/8 MOA. I see no downside.
