I have a very nice Argentine Mauser Calvary Carbine, I picked up years ago for nothing. Shot it once, about 4 MOA with some old surplus ammo, about 4" to the right. After three cases came apart in the chamber, I stopped. Ten goes by, and I loaded some Hornady 150 grain bullets on top of some PPU brass, took it out again, mainly to sight it. It shot around 8 MOA, but I did my best to center things up anyway. I was very disappointed. A week later, out of curiosity, I salvaged what was left of my surplus ammo, and loaded the surplus bullets on top of the PPU brass, and it shot MUCH better. Two weeks ago, I loaded THESE bullets, IMR 4895, and the PPU brass. I had to figure out my OAL because there's no data available from PPU, which is a bit of a pain. I now have a Calvary Carbine that shoots 1 1/2 MOA on the bullseye...all day long! Nothing makes a 100 dollar 130 year old rifle more fun to shoot, than accuracy.

Pinpoint accuracy with low pressure in my .303 British. Loading on top of Accurate 2520 and Ramshot Big game, both powder charges 2 grains below MAX that's listed in the current manual. Cases last through ten reloads, then I recycle them, primer pockets stay tight, so chamber pressure is moderate. Standard, non-magnum LR primer, CCI Bench Rest.
A great bullet for target work.

I have reloaded with Prvi Partizan projectiles for years. Great product and Graf & Sons got them to me quickly and at a great price. I will be ordering them again.
Perfect!
