Due to the packaging and shipping process, case necks are often slightly dinged or bent and need to be rounded up and sized to give proper neck tension. New and/or fired cases must be full-length resized or have the expander ball of the sizing die run through the case neck prior to loading.

Product Information

The .270 Winchester has been around nearly a century and has become just as popular as its parent cartridge, the .30-06. Chambered by almost every major firearm manufacturer with a hunting rifle in their lineup, the 270 Winchester has made quite a name for itself as a big game caliber in North America. In fact, it was a favorite cartridge of Starline Brass founder Frank Snow for elk hunting. It also acts a great varmint caliber when loaded with the lighter 90-110 grain bullets that are available.

This Starline Brass is bagged at Graf & Sons. This is not loaded ammunition.

Starline Brass is my "go-to" reloading brass due to its quality and price. I have no qualms recommending it.

Starline is High quality at a very competitive price . In my mind it is not on par with Lapua or Peterson , but it blows most others right out of the water. I love the price and quality and that it is available. Keep up the good work Starline.

Fine quality brass, Starline manages to keep prices low and has been out producing the competition the last few years. Very pleased with their products.

I have been reloading for over 40 years and have used every brand of brass at one time or the other. Starline brass has always been a top performer at a fair price. that is why I keep using it.

Use Starline brass when I can get it. I have compared it to the expensive stuff and it performs as if not better than most. It is consistent and accuracy is always good.

Good brass, glad I got it.

Very happy I purchased this brass. The lengths out of bag are pretty consistent. All right about case trim to length of 2.530”, with a few a thousandth or two over. Brass is clean, all cases were in great shape with no dinged up case mouths. Very happy with this brass as I am with all my Starline brass, for the price it’s hard to beat. It may not be Lapua brass but it’s not Lapua priced either. This brass will serve my purpose very very well and will use the cash I saved buying it to put towards other components. And as always Grafs got it to me in quick fashion and was extremely well packaged. Thank you Grafs for the excellent customer service, packing quality, having great prices, and having this brass in stock.

Starline Brass

By Steve W. on Nov 04, 2020
I’ve used nosler, Hornady and lapua brass in past for my reloading. For the money, and even compared to higher cost, starline is awesome. Consistency and quality appears to be on par with Hornady and nosler. Time will tell how many reloads I get from them but for hunting and shooting purposes not sure that I’ll ever need to switch.
