Product Information

The Hoppe's Bore Light is a useful tool for clear visual inspection under any ambient lighting conditions. It illuminates the bore fully, so nicks, scratches, pits, and fouling can be seen easily, making it a valuable tool to take along if you're purchasing a used firearm. The Bore Light is also good for conducting a safety check of the chamber and for lighting up other hard-to-see areas.

  • Unique locking feature lets you press light on for quick inspections or lock light on for longer periods
  • 90-degree tip allows for easy access to bore or chamber
  • High-impact plastic case provides added durability
  • Uses fiber optic illumination
  • Requires two AAA batteries, sold separately

Hoppe's bore light

The bore light I had was from Brownell's . It had a metal case , etc. It quit after many years. This one is just as good and cheaper. It works well for inspecting handgun bores and the chamber throats of revolvers.

You need one!

My old one finally gave up the ghost and it is handy to see in detail what your barrel looks like especially with a lever action.
Otherwise you are trying to fanagle something reflective with light to see what your barrel looks like inside. Highly recommend especially for lever action rifles.

Works great for inspection of the barrel without taking the firearm apart.
