Poor Quality

By Stephen H. on Mar 10, 2020
Not sure if it was just a bad box or what, but had two fail to fires (strong primer hit, so no problem there), and one round went off but did not leave the barrel. Checked and nearly 95% of the powder did not ignite and looked soaking wet. Tried a different brand of ammo in same gun, no issues.

Best Place For Hard To Find Ammo

By George R. on Apr 01, 2019
I've been buying ammo for my vintage military rifles from Graf and Sons for several years. Never had a misfire and always had great service. 7.7x58 Jap is getting harder and harder to find and Grafs is the most reliable supplier to keep my Dad's WW II bring back firing.

Not dependable ammo

By Redo B. on Nov 18, 2015
I have purchased 3 boxes of this ammo and had 2 misfires which is too often. When I have a deer in my sights it is important that I have reliable ammo. I had my local gunsmith look at my rifle and he said that there was no issue with my firing pin. It was simply defective ammo. I have also bought the Graf & Sons ammo and never had a misfire. I will stick with the Graf & Sons brand in the future.

Head stamped 7.7x58 PPU

I have bought Norma brass for about what I paid per piece of this already loaded ammo. The ammo looks great. The necks are annealed. I have used PCI ammo in the past and have had good luck with the brass and have reloaded it many times. I suspect I will save this ammo more for hunting because it is soft point lead, but as I use it I will reload this brass ( I have a bunch of FMJ bulllets)and I am sure if I don't over do it, it will work just fine.
