Product Information

Since its introduction in 2003, Barnes’ Triple-Shock X-Bullet has earned a reputation as “the perfect hunting bullet.” Now, Barnes has improved on perfection by adding a streamlined polymer tip. The new Tipped TSX features the same 100-percent copper body with multiple rings cut into the shank. It delivers the same gnat’s eyelash accuracy and “dead right there” performance—but with an added polymer tip that boosts BC and improves long-range ballistics. The tip and a re-engineered nose cavity provide even faster expansion. Complete penetration, virtually 100 percent weight retention and four razor-sharp cutting petals that doubles bullet diameter means the new Tipped TSX creates more internal damage than any competing bullet. Instant expansion and perfect penetration ensures cleaner, quicker kills.

This is not loaded ammunition.

Barnes .338 185g TTSX projectiles

By Thomas M. on Nov 16, 2023
Bought these for my new 8.6 Blackout build. I had tried some “off brand” bullets, but they weren’t even close to being accurate. Barnes .338 185g & 210g TTSX & TSX are accurate and work perfectly for a SuperSonic load on anything from Mule Deer to Elk to Caped Buffalo. And as usual, Graf’s had them in stock and they shipped fast.

I have to say I never paid much attention to Grafs but you guys come through with products I need better than any other provider out there! I'm glad I found you! Barnes bullets have always produced accuracy and great results through the years and I don't expect these to perform any different! Occasionally it takes a little tweaking to find "that load" that brings accuracy, due to different barrels, actions etc., but I always find a great combo I can count on, whether a local whitetail hunt or a guided hunt on the other side of the country!

Barnes badass

Barnes are the best. Love these bullets. One shot kills all the time with these bullets. I tried several other bullets and nothing compares.

Canalures can be problematic

By HT S. on Jun 06, 2019
Overall, very satisfied with this offering from Barnes. I wish they packed them individually, instead of dumping in container. When seating places the tip of the case at the level of a canalure, 2 problems can occur: crimping can be impossible, and bullet wants to advance or fall back to the edge of the canalure with recoil (when loaded into magazine). Both big NO-NO's.
