Due to the packaging and shipping process, case necks are often slightly dinged or bent and need to be rounded up and sized to give proper neck tension. New and/or fired cases must be full-length resized or have the expander ball of the sizing die run through the case neck prior to loading.

Mostly good

By Clinton W. on Dec 13, 2023
The overall quality of Winchester brass is pretty good. Not great, but for the most part it will make good ammo. I usually find 1 or 2 pieces that have defects that make them unusable. Since the brass is not excessively expensive, I have come to overlook the bad pieces I get. The ammunition that I make performs as expected. That said 264 Winchester is very potent and largely ignored by the shooting public. Shame ...It's an awesome round!

Some what disappointed in winchester

By Patrick A. on Aug 07, 2022
Expected a lot more quality control from Winchester, had serval cases that I could not get ANY large rifle primer to seat in cup. Reached out to Winchester and they said if I returned the cases that had issues they would work something out with me. We will see.

Great consistency, primer pockets are holding up well.

>264 Win Mag new Brass

By Ronald J. on Jul 13, 2020
This is tough brass, and even with full power loads primer pocket stays tight. Have load other win brass 7-8 times with no failure. Annealing after 3-4 loadings keeps neck tension good also.
