Speer 7mm 145 grain SPBT Bullet

By Billy M. on Dec 27, 2023
I've used the Speer 7mm 130 grain flat base and it is very accurate and deadly on whitetail deer in my 7x57 Mauser. The 145 grain flat base is also very accurate in my rifle. I ordered these 7mm 145 grain Speer boat tails in hopes of getting the same accuracy as the flat base and even flatter trajectory. Speer's Hot Core bullets are great on paper, great on game and economical.

Excellent Bullets, Reasonable Price.

A classic

By John A. on Aug 20, 2018
I've used Speer bullets for many years, mostly for range use, and have always had excellent results. These bullets are very uniform in weight and shape, although the lead nose can get dinged up a bit. They are still more accurate than I am. For deer sized game they will definitely perform well. I've had good accuracy once I have a load worked up. They're inexpensive too, making them very appealing for practicing one's marksmanship with a bullet you can hunt with.
