Its a double-base, spherical powder with great metering properties that make it an ideal choice for consistent results using high volume, progressive reloading equipment.  Outstanding 9mm Lugar Powder

I was fortunate and snagged a couple pounds of this before powder got scarce in the great ConVid shortage. It's a fine spherical ball powder, very small granule size & meters like a dream in my RCBS Uniflow powder measure (with the small bore drum) but not sure how it would do in the auto tricklers at such small charges. Once set, I can throw the exact same charge every time continuously. It's low volume so you can get a lot in there if pushing velocity is your thing (defensive loads) but with normal charges, x - x.x grains you could double charge if you're not careful.
It works great for all 9mm projectile weights from 65g up to 124, capable of excellent velocity, very good consistency & accuracy. Burns very clean too. I wouldn't mind reloading the same cases without tumbling them.
I've shot my best groups ever from my Italian Beretta 92F with Speer 124g TMJ's & Ramshot True Blue.
Good data out there for .38 Special and other pistol cartridges too. Just haven't tried it in anything else yet.
Ramshot/Wester Powders having a top notch manual is a major plus also.
