Made of virtually indestructible polypropylene that will not warp, crack, chip, peel, expand or contract, MTM CASE-GARD rifle ammunition cases are still the first choice of rifle enthusiasts throughout the world. The mechanical hinge is guaranteed for 25 years. Snap-Lock latch protects contents from accidental spilling. Textured finish makes it easier to grip and harder to scratch.

I have used MTM ammo boxes for years with no issues. However, I recently ordered a couple of boxes for .250 Savage ammo and overlooked the fact that the boxes I ordered had a maximum overall height capacity of 2.5”. If you are loading .250 Savage long enough to approach the rifle’s lands, 2.5” is too short! The boxes designed for the .308 Win family of cartridges are tall enough to solve this problem. Not the box’s fault, the boxes are great.
