Due to the packaging and shipping process, case necks are often slightly dinged or bent and need to be rounded up and sized to give proper neck tension. New and/or fired cases must be full-length resized or have the expander ball of the sizing die run through the case neck prior to loading.

Product Information

All 50 count listings of Peterson Cartridge casings come in one of their plastic ammo boxes.

Made in the U.S.A.

At Peterson Cartridge we are committed to the competitive rifle shooting sports, and the calibers those competitors want to shoot. Because of this we strive to anticipate what calibers will be popular in the near future. We believe .25 Creedmoor will be one of those calibers. Companies are coming out with better and better .25 caliber bullets. And of course, good bullets paired with good casings equals good results at the target.

Because much of the market for this caliber is long-distance competition shooters Peterson designed these casings with Small Rifle Primer pockets.

According to Derek Peterson, president of Peterson Cartridge, “Peterson casings are known for really consistent internal volume from case to case. This results in single digit muzzle-velocity standard deviations. We are also known for extremely consistent neck tension, which results in uniform bullet release from shot to shot. And a lot of customers appreciate our casing hardness values which result in an uncommonly high number of reloads.”

Peterson continued, “Our new .25 Creedmoor includes all of those features. But when we designed the tool pack to make the .25 Creedmoor we went one step further and created the ideal neck wall thickness. As you might imagine, when a handloader necks down a larger caliber it can result in a neck wall that is a bit too thick. Necking up a smaller caliber can result in a neck wall that is a bit too thin. We designed Peterson .25 Creedmoor from scratch, with the ideal neck wall thickness,”

Peterson concluded, “If you think the .25 Creedmoor is an up-and-coming caliber, and you want to shoot correctly headstamped casings, give us a try.”

Warning: Only use Peterson Cartridge Co. casings in firearms in good condition, designed, marked, and chambered for this cartridge. Do not use Peterson Cartridge Co casings for “fire forming” or any other purpose other than what they were designed and tested for. Peterson retains no responsibility for the enclosed casings if they are used outside of the manufacturer’s recommendations.

This is not loaded ammunition.

25 Creedmoor Brass

If you have not used Peterson brass, you owe it to yourself to try it out. If your wondering if it compares to Lapua, well no,, it’s better!! I use to run Lapua,, annealed after every firing and averaged 3-4 firings on the brass before primer pockets loosened. With Peterson, I no longer anneal, and I have lost count on reloads on most of my brass. In weight sorting it averages a +/- .2 grains. I am not easy on this brass. I run my 25 Creedmoor at 2950fps with the 131gr Blackjack Ace bullet (amazing bullet btw!!) and shoot ACCURATELY to 1mile. And one of the greatest and probably most important thing, this brass is made right here in the United States of America!!
