Due to the packaging and shipping process, case necks are often slightly dinged or bent and need to be rounded up and sized to give proper neck tension. New and/or fired cases must be full-length resized or have the expander ball of the sizing die run through the case neck prior to loading.

Introduced in 1955 by Winchester, the .243 Winchester is one of the most popular and versatile cartridges available.  Derived from the .308 Winchester, the .243's low recoil and flat trajectory make it an excellent all around cartridge.  Due to a wide bullet selection being readily available, the .243 can be applied just as well on the shooting bench looking over prairie dog town as it can waiting for a whitetail from 15’ up a tree.  The 243’s accuracy potential is excellent making it a popular choice of competitive shooters.

Excellent .243 brass

Brass is excellent.
May not be as good as Lapua, BUT, half the cost. Also, this brass came in factory Starline packaging, vs. rebagged from bulk in a standard/plain bag or box.
Get it while you can, .243 starline is not always in stock.
Buy from Grafs, they have the best price and service. Shipping and packing is always excellent unlike some other vendors.
Very happy, and will purchase more from Grafs.

My .243 is my bang/flop rifle, whitetails don’t stand a chance. No tracking necessary!
Excellent quality brass, as is the case with all starline brass, at a fair price! Will make some nice quality handloads.

Uniform Dimensions

Upon receipt of 243 brass, I measured neck runout and overall length and found both to be uniform (< .002"). Primer pockets and flash holes were clean and uniform. Neck tension was a little tighter than I typically use, so I ran a mandrel through the necks to open them up to .242". After expanding, the cases maintained tight neck runout. I did make a small bevel cut on the inside/outside of the case mouths.
Pleased with the product at this point.

Purchased 100 243 cases to reload my 243. Found the cases very uniform weighted them all and from the lightest to the heaviest there was only a 1/2 gr difference

Great Product

Purchased 100 rounds in 243. Found these to be very uniform. Will not hesitate to purchase again. Flash holes were clean no burrs, primer pockets uniform and this made case prep very easy.
