Lyman 50th Edition Reloading Manuel

By Mark I. on May 18, 2020
There is some good information in this manual. This is the fourth Lyman Manual I have. The reason I gave this a 4 star rating is because the 46th edition listed an accurate load for a caliber I load. The 46th edition listed the starting load for IMR 4064 for 22-250 as 31 grains and was the most accurate. Now in the 50th edition Lyman has changed the load data on the same load and it now begins with 32 grains. Maybe after reading this more I will give it a 5 star rating. There cerrainly is good good information in this book.

50th Edition Lyman Manual

By Keith B. on Jan 14, 2020
My very first reloading book was a #45 Lyman Manual my buddy gave me when I first showed an interest in reloading as he had an extra one. It still sits on the shelf along with #46 & #47.

Over the years since #45, the book has been enlarged in size, depth, & all around improved which brings us to #50. Lots of new powders, calibers, & bullets in the last decade which seem to be covered in the book adequately or better. It's in color now too.

Cast bullet data is a plus as most other manuals dont cover these at all or in any depth. All things considered it was a good purchase. 4 1/2 stars because nothing is perfect.

This Manual has everything you need for reloading. It has all the load data for all the bullet weights and a nice selection of powders with pressures or cup along with velocities. The manual has some good Articles included. I would recommend it at a very fair price.
