Product Information

Since its introduction in 2003, Barnes’ Triple-Shock X Bullet has earned a reputation as “the perfect hunting bullet.” Now, Barnes has improved on perfection by adding a streamlined polymer tip.

The new Tipped TSX features the same 100-percent copper body with multiple rings cut into the shank. It delivers the same gnat’s-eyelash accuracy and “dead right there” performance—but with an added polymer tip that boosts BC and improves long-range ballistics. The tip and a re-engineered nose cavity provide even faster expansion.

Complete penetration, virtually 100-percent weight retention and four razor-sharp cutting petals that double bullet diameter means the new Tipped TSX creates more internal damage than any competing bullet. Instant expansion and perfect penetration ensures cleaner, quicker kills.

This is not loaded ammunition.

Super accurate

By Michael S. on Aug 22, 2023
I have only been shooting holes in paper with these 250 grain bullets and my loads have been on the mild side to date, around 2500 fps. Loaded ahead of Varget and Reloader15 every group is a clover leaf at 100 yards. Given that they are 3/8ths in diameter that amounts to groups under 3/4 of an inch. Could not be happier!

.375 H&H Excellence

By Ronald W. on Jun 08, 2023
My 1953 Model 70 loves these bullets pushed by Reloader 15. The really great news is that with the rifle zeroed for 225 yards it delivers 300 grain Barnes TSX and Solids to a 100 yard zero. Perfect for an upcoming Limpopo bushveldt hunt for Cape Buffalo. The 250’s will be used for everything else including Black Wildebeest and Springbok in the Free State where 300 yard shots may be necessary. All without changing anything on the scope.

Perfect performance by .375 TTSX bullets

By Joe B. on Mar 24, 2023
I prefer to use the 250gr TTSX bullet over a 270gr or 300gr. I like to drive them fast out of my Model 70 .375H&H where I get 2725 fps over 71 grains of Varget. I have killed everything from deer, pigs, elk, African eland, zebras, Australian water buffalo, and more using this bullet. Shots from 50 yards to 250 yards. My rifle loves these bullets and I typically shoot .75 MOA at 100 yards. It is a Barnes bullet and that means no loss of bullet mass upon impact and penetration from any angle. When any hunting guide or PH asks me what I am shooting in my .375 H&H they are immediately on board when I say Barnes even if it is a 250gr TTSX vs. a 270gr or 300gr TSX.
