Remington 115gr UMC 9mm Luger Ammo

By Hudson B. on May 24, 2012
Bought 2 boxes of 50 of UMC 9mm Luger 115gr FMJRN (same lot #), and experienced a fairly frequent periodic failure to eject from a reliable CZ 75. I changed magazines, and experienced the same problem. I changed to a Sig P226, and had the same random failure to eject problem. Neither of the aforementioned pistols have ever given me this problem with 115gr or 124gr factory ammo or hand loads. Changed ammo to Winchester 115gr FMJRN 9mm Luger, and both pistols performed flawlessly. I don't know if Remington had a bad day on the production line, or if they are rushing production at the expense of quality control to get things out the door, but I do not recommend the Remington UMC 9mm Luger ammo.
