Product Information

Missouri Bullet Company bullets are “Hardness-Optimized” for your intended application. Every box of bullets displays the BHN (Brinell Hardness Number), which is constantly sampled and monitored. Specially created alloys determine the bullet hardness which varies based on the intended caliber and application. Once you try bullets optimized for the velocity of the loads you shoot, you'll never buy another manufacturer's cast bullet! This is not loaded ammunition.

Great Choice For .38 Special!

By Bob F. on Nov 03, 2023
This 140 grain bullet is (mostly) a pleasure to load and an absolute joy to unload (@ the range)! To begin with, about 1 in 4 of these bullets has a casting flaw (flashing at bullet's base) which renders the bevel base useless. With a pocket knife, I removed the excess alloy from the projectile so that it would enter the case mouth without issue. This is the only complaint I've ever had with ANY bullet from MO Bullet CO. With a 4" barreled, S&W M10 these proved to be great plinkers and when loaded with TiteGroup or HP-38, provided respectable accuracy from 20 feet out to 20 yards. The TC bullet shape gives plenty of meplat area while also allowing ease of loading in a revolver's cylinder. Finally, I plan to buy more of these: odds are, I just got a crappy batch this time.

Hard weight to find

If you've not tried 140 grain bullets, you should try these. Missouri bullet quality in a hard bullet. Accurate and a perfect compromise between the light bullets and the heavy weights. With 231 these brought my fixed sight Smiths nicely to point of aim. Give them a try, you'll be pleased with the results.

Quality casting

My intent was to resize and use in 350 legend. Though the slight shoulder prevents reliable feeding. Will just size to 355 and use in 9mm. Nice bullets,no complaints
