Product Information

Designed for Service Rifle competition in the M16A2/AR-15A2, our 22 caliber bullets have set an incredible number of new national records.

While they are recognized around the world for record-setting accuracy, MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are not recommended for most hunting applications.  Although MatchKing® and Tipped MatchKing® bullets are commonly used for varmint hunting, their design will not provide the same reliable explosive expansion at equivalent velocities in varmints compared to their lightly jacketed Hornet, Blitz or Varminter counterparts.

This is not loaded ammunition.

Shoots better than any bullet I've tried in my Remington 700 VTR. 1in9 twist. Good bullet at a reasonable price.

Best round for my rifle

By Gregory J. on Mar 26, 2019
I shoot a Savage Model 12 BVSS with a 1:9 twist. Savage’s web site recommends a 69 grain bullet. I have tried Sierra Match Kings (SMK), Lapua Scenars, Berger VLDs, and Hornet VLDs. I always go back to the SMKs becuse my rifle shoots1/2 MOA with them.

The most accurate bullet that I have found shooting from my AR 15 with a 20 inch heavy barrel.
