I have been waiting a long time for these to come available.
They are the best bullets in this caliber that i could find.
The diameter is .3115 and the weight of the bullets are
usually no more than .5 of a grain difference. Get them
while you can.

This is the first time I have purchased the Sierra Match King. I purchased these because the Hornady 174 gr was unavailable
I used it in both my Enfield #4 and also my Mosin Nagant 91/30 and had good groups with both rifles. I will purchase these again.

This is the only bullet I use in my No.4 MKII, M39, and will be for a recently acquired 1909 Argentine Mauser. All three rifles have excellent bores. I have shot the Enfield and Finn in Military matches at my club, and their long range performance has been awesome, with this bullet. I load to original military velocity specs, and the loads shoot very close to the sight graduations. Great bullet!

Good Bullet for the Enfield No 4 Rifle

The Sierra 174 gr .311" HPBT is a very good choice for the British No 4 rifle. These bullets are actually a bit "fat" in that they mike closer to .3114". A No 4 rifle with a decent bore* should be very happy shooting this bullet over IMR 4895 or Vihta Vuori N135 (my favorite.)
*The No 4 rifles in circulation that were overhauled, i.e. rebarreled, will perform best. A No 4 rifle with a barrel that shot cordite ammo will most likely not group well.
